In this Archero guide, you will learn how to upgrade heroes – including strategy and overviews.
Since autumn 2019, you have been able to choose between different heroes in Archero and upgrade them. Upgrading offers decisive advantages. But how does the system work and which hero should be “upgraded” when and until where. We have all the answers and a Archero Hero Upgrades Guide strategy for you.
Leveling up the characters themselves, along with your gear, is the key way to progress in Archero. With each additional level of a hero their attack and the number of life points improve. In addition you unlock at levels 20, 40, 60, and 80 further improvements. Some advantages apply to all heroes , so it is also worthwhile to provide characters with level-ups that you actually do not use. The jumps from one level to the next are different for each hero, but the costs also increase with further levels. A closer look is necessary.
You need this to level the heroes
Unlike in other apps, Archero does not have any experience points that would be important for a character progression. Only two things are necessary to upgrade Helix, Taranis and Co. You can get both by playing the main dungeons (Sapphire only from chapter 3) and above all higher chapters are a regular source for the blue clunkers. However, we particularly recommend the temporary events such as the ” Spring Festival ” and ” Dangers up close ” in order to quickly collect many coins or Sapphire. Although their use is limited, regular visits will quickly bring you to a decent stock.
You may also come across an offer from the Mysterious Seller , who also sapphires for gems or coins – albeit very rarely. Nevertheless, you should consider carefully whether you want to pay the price: first. The offers are not bargains, and secondly, you need the coins to level up as well. It doesn’t do much if you buy expensive sapphires, which you can’t use because you don’t have enough coins.
Especially at the beginning in the low level area, the costs are dirt cheap compared to what you get in terms of attack points and life points. For later stages, however, it means: save, save, save!
Hero leveling strategy in Archero
Your current player level in Archero indicates the maximum level you can upgrade your heroes. So you quickly get to a point where you can no longer level your darling despite existing resources. It also makes more sense to take care of the other shooters in your portfolio at a certain point before you sink incredible sums for a level-up. Because with the advantages for all heroes you also strengthen your primary character. Which hero you choose first depends, of course, on which characters you have already unlocked or bought. It is therefore difficult to develop a strategy that suits everyone. Most should go well with the following steps.
In general, premium heroes are also stronger in their advantages, which affect everyone. Rolla, for example, offers 60 additional attack points for everyone at level 20, while Urasil still gets +40 attack points at the same level. Sylvan’s effect is even twice as strong as that of your first hero Atreus.
archero best hero to upgrade
First focus on your primary hero and bring him up to level 40. Until then, the costs for upgrades are comparatively reasonable and the advantage that you unlock yourself at level 40 is generally worth it.
Level premium characters at level 20 to benefit from all heroes’ bonuses. Helix offers the best advantage of the free playable figures. From the 20th level, 20 percent more critical damage is a massive boost that you should secure yourself early on. Then Meowgik and Urasil offer themselves with their non-percentage plus on the attack, followed by Taranis, Phoren and Atreus.
Now bring your favorite character up to level 60. Should you get stuck because of the maximum level. The Sapphire is better saved rather than being put into other heroes. As soon as you reach this third threshold, you gain another advantage that is also transferred to all other heroes.
Keep the level of your favorite hero at the maximum possible afterwards. The next advantages from other heroes cost a hell of a lot. It is only worth investing in if you have already reached level 60 with your primary hero, are at maximum and have Sapphire and coins left over. So we’re talking about a very advanced game.
Treat premium heroes again preferentially and bring them to level 60. Rolla would again be number 1. Onir’s healing boost also has an extremely powerful effect.
Bring all other heroes to level 60. Meowgik and Taranis have the biggest advantage.
